Partly Sunny Day in Osoyoos
Ron & Sheila Read have been visiting us since Tuesday afternoon. They arrived after we survived a terrific rainstorm that washed away a lot of the sand on our beach. It started to dry up and by Wed. morning the parking lot was almost free of water ...we had a long walk up to the Osoyoos Golf Course then back to rest ..eat , drink and play cards. Yesterday we took a long walk to Haines Point Provincial Campsite (2nd time for Frank & me), saw a few mother ducks with many many babies...some had 9. Back to the motel to rest and drink and later to the "Sage" for patron appreciation night with baby ribs 2 for the price of 1 dinner. GREAT!! and after that there was kareoke night with lots of young people singing their hearts out. Quite a full day...got home and watched George Jones DVD and off to bed by 2330. This morning Ron & Sheila left about 0800 and now Frank & I are off on another long walk. Phew.....we might even get in shape....bye for now, Sharon & Frank

Hi Sharon and Frank,
I'm glad that the weather has improved for you. And obviously you are now full in to blogging. That's great. We're still in Moab because there are so mmany amazing canyons to see and hike.

Hi Sharon and Frank,
What a nice surprise to receive your bloggy-soggy note. This is my first attempt at blogging for me. I wanted to let you know I got your note so thought I would give it a try. It sounds like you got off to a very wet start of your holidays. Hope it has improved some what. It is damp and cool on the island...waiting for the first day of summer, maybe we will get some warmer weather. We just got home from Vancouver where we sent Kathleen and Sheena back to Toronto. They were in Korea for three weeks and had a stop over. Kathleen was working on a case and Sheena went along for the flight. Sheena got to meet Chris for the first time which was great for them both. Hope you are having a super time...good for you both for getting your walks in every day, I should be so inspired...Take care. Sharon and Hans
