Osoyoos in the rain
Frank and I arrived on Sunday afternoon to glorius sunshine and very hot weather.........however...on Monday when we awoke it had been raining a bit and was mostly cloudy with sunny breaks. We enjoyed yesterday taking a 1 1/2 hour walk to Haines Point Provincial Park. Even in the first few days of June the park is almost full...only a few spots open for 1-4days...rates are good for a motorhome - $22 a night - however no electricity ....only a few water taps around....outhouses with flush toilets...but what a beautiful setting. Went to the Sage bar last night to watch The Ducks beat the Senators........Playoff night $5.99 for burger and beer...! Today we awoke to a flood....we now have a lake in fron and in back of motel. The parking lot is totally flooded and part of the beach has been washed away into the lake. Today we will take a walk into town even in the rain...we are trying to get more fit. This afternoon Sheila and Ron Read arrive, so bye for now, Sharon and Frank
